When most people use the word "or" in casual English parlance, they tend to mean it exclusively - you can have either cake or pie, but not both. In more formal usage (such as computer programming), "or" is used inclusively. If a computer tells you that you can have cake or pie, the answer "both, please" would be perfectly valid. If the computer tells you that you can have cake XOR pie, on the other hand, it means that you are limited to a single dessert.

(Wednesday, INT: EB and JH's apartment)

EB: Okay, so it's my turn. Max: Truth. How many different kinds of psychoactive drugs have you tried in your life?
MH: Ah, ah, ah! Three people playing, remember? So either you ask Jamie a question, or Jamie asks me, depending on which direction we're going.
EB: Ah, but I did both challenges.
--------------
EB (holding out empty glass upside down): Check it, bitches: empty glass. So I get to ask you both something.
JH: Is that how this works? What's the protocol, here? Are you even allowed to do the Truth and the Dare?
--------------
EB: 'Course you are. Otherwise, they'd have called it Truth Xor Dare.
MH: Ellen, are you applying computer programming logic to a drinking game?
--------------
EB: S'better than applying drinking logic to a computer programming game.
JH: Yeah, I still haven't been able to get the Jack Daniels smell out of my Spambot cards...
