(Thursday morning, INT: EB and JH's apartment)
JH (switched places with Ellen, wearing her glasses): I don't think I'm going to finish this omelette, Jamie. I've been feeling fat lately.
EB: I'm sorry to hear that, Ellen. While I happen to think your body is in healthy shape and would be considered attractive by most, I recognize the validity of your emotional state.
--------------
JH: Thanks, Jamie. Your recognition of my emotions - though you can't do anything about them - means a lot to me, because I value our friendship. I'm going to go put this in some Tupperware and stick it in the fridge, I'll eat the rest of it later.
EB: Thanks. I'll get started on the dishes, I don't want to leave that frying pan in the sink, it'll make the whole apartment smell like eggs.
--------------
JH: I like the way your cooking smells, Jamie! You know what, don't worry about it, I'll do the dishes. It's only fair, since you cooked.
EB: Okay, well, speaking of stinking up the apartment, I think I should probably clean the toilet, it's looking pretty grody. I'll probably scrub out the tub while I'm at it.
JH: Wow, thanks Jamie. I'll take out the garbage and recycling and do all the vacuuming, then.
--------------
EB: You know what, I'm going to cover all of rent and the utilities this month.
JH: Great idea, it'll make the bills a lot easier! I'll cover them for the remainder of the year.
EB: You're so generous, Ellen! I'm going to make us a chocolate chip soufflé to celebrate!
JH (normal voice): Whoa, hang on, too far. Those things are bullshit.
