Throughout this storyline, I've been getting a lot of comments in the format "Gina is wrong! Real Christians actually believe X!", which would be wonderfully useful if the Xs all agreed with each other.

In case anyone's curious, Gina's particular flavour of Xianity is megachurch-style non-denominational Protestant. In theory, "non-denominational" should mean that she believes in loving God with all her heart, loving her neighbour as herself, in Jesus as the incarnation of God who is Love, in prayer as a good idea and the Bible as a useful document... and essentially agnostic about everything else. In practice... well, we have this.

Amen, Gina. Amen.

(GU is driving alone)

GU: Sorry about that. I guess I could have handled that whole situation better. I didn't mean to give you a bad name or anything.
GU: Really, would it have killed you to make these things a little easier? Swapped out the book of Amos for a nice Ikea diagram of the afterlife or something?

(More silence)

GU: Please don't hurt Max.
GU: Please don't hurt my friend. Please don't let my friend get hurt. Amen.
