D&D and other roleplaying games, generally, do not have winners and losers, unless you keep track of XP or kills and declare that whoever has the most is the winner.
Similarly, real life does not have winners and losers, unless you keep track of money or prestige or - like Max - sexual experiences, and declare that whoever has the most is the winner.

(Sunday afternoon, EXT: outside GU's mother's home)
MH: Look, Gina, if this thing with Jamie is a date, you wanna go into it game face on, right?
GU: Well, whether this is a date or not, we're going to be... learning about each other. Wouldn't altering my normal appearance defeat the point of that?
--------------
CA: Oh, not at all. It's not about making you look like someone else, it's about communicating intent. Besides, what woman doesn't enjoy indulging her girly side and playing with her hair and makeup to attract attention?
--------------
[GU looks at MH in silence]
--------------
MH: Hey, no guff out of you, missy. As far as I'm concerned, last night alone, I'm beating you twelve-zip.
AU: Gina, I thought you said those games you play on Saturdays don't have winners and losers.
GU: Oh hey look my Mom's here. Mom, would you get drinks for our guests?
