Jamie has a unique approach to problem solving.

0494-------------------------------------
(Monday morning, EXT: suburban street)

ChA: So did you have a reason for sending me to the wrong house, other than pissing me off?
JH: I did.
ChA: I'd love to hear it.
--------------
JH: Well, from our discussion on Friday, it was pretty clear you still thought that I had robbed and subsequently killed Richard Knight. And shoving a gun in my ribs might have been reasonable behaviour if you thought I had hurt your sister, but it's still rather... shall we say... impulsive. It shows you leap to some very interesting conclusions, and act on them.
--------------
JH: Now, maybe you just wanted to give Kowalski his gun back, and maybe you had some elaborate conspiracy theory wherein you believed he and I were in cahoots. I wasn't sure if you were going to return his stolen property, or beat a confession out of him... so I watched how you approached this house, and now I'm satisfied. I just gave you the wrong house number, Kowalski's across the street.
--------------
ChA: And at any point did it occur to you that if I am, as you suspected, a delusional ex-cop on a twisted mission of violent retribution, that you just placed some random family in grave danger?
JH: Ah. No. No, it did not.
