EB: Lily. My character is a criminal psychiatrist. As in the stories Spark in the Darkness and Split Infinitive, that means that in an emergency - which I would say any combat is - I can declare individuals to be criminally insane without a tribunal, yes?
LH: Um. Yes. You can do that.

EB: Varla already got us access to the RTM network before she dropped, and we already know how many women there are in the complex. Because of their involvement in an anarchist collective, I'm declaring each and every one of them criminally insane, and, like Glora Pennyworth did in the second chapter of Inclined Plane, since I'm the only licensed shrink within spitting distance, I can declare myself their Primary Care Provider.

LH: If you're willing to take responsibility for three dozen people, sure, but that in no way compels them to do what you say.
EB: Oh, I ain't countin' on it. I can, however, rescind their Licenses of Bodily Autonomy, and since all their hardware is antique, I'm betting they haven't modded the firewalls on the neural implants that control their libidos.

LH: Alright, yes, if you're doing that, I am going to say you do, technically, have the ability to access all their various appetites and libidos and turn them all off.
