You may recognize the aborted argument Max is making in the first panel as a paraphrase of Winston Churchill's famous "now we're haggling" quip. Classic wittiness aside, it's really not a fair argument to make about anything, and I don't recommend using it.

MH: Yeah, lotta that going around. Gimme the SparkNotes version.
