Seriously, don't tempt people with something they can't have, for any definition of "can't". It's just not a nice thing to do.
Of course, one rarely has any control over people's temptations, how they respond to stimuli... and, for that matter, people won't always tell you when they "can't" do something.

JH: ...but when you brine your own pork belly, you can put whatever you want in there. You taste that kick? That's not a sauce. The bacon itself is ever so slightly spicy.
EB: Mmm yeah, I wondered what that was. That is so good.
